Biography
Soo Choi is the Deputy Director of Nature United, where she leads the development and implementation of organizational strategy and helps strengthen how the organization operates and grows. She works across the organization to ensure that Nature United has the people, capabilities and resources needed to deliver conservation impact across Canada.
Before joining Nature United, Soo served the Canadian Armed Forces and held leadership roles in the private sector. She brings experience leading and supporting teams in complex, mission-driven environments.
Soo is motivated by purposeful work and complex challenges, particularly where it involves innovation and working at scale. At Nature United, she feels privileged to support work that brings together partners — from Indigenous rightsholders and local community members to governments and businesses — and values being part of efforts that contribute to practical, lasting solutions that benefit both people and nature
