Biography

Rebecca joined Nature United in 2023. As Executive Assistant and Board Liaison, she supports the Executive Director and Nature United Leadership Team by providing strategic, operational and administrative support and coordination for the Canada program.  She also supports Nature United’s Board of Directors. 

Before this, Rebecca worked at Future Possibilities for Kids, a non-profit that delivers free coaching-based programs that supports youth from communities facing barriers across the Greater Toronto Area to increase their resilience and develop community awareness, leading to civic engagement. She had several roles in her time there, including Program Coordinator, Operations Coordinator and Program and Operations Manager, where she led the programs team, and supported the development and implementation of programs and organizational strategies. Rebecca has an honours bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph and a Non-profit and Leadership Management Graduate Certificate from Seneca College. 

In her free time, she loves exploring Toronto’s many parks and coffee shops. She also enjoys staying active and live music and can be found taking fitness classes and attending concerts with friends.
