Biography
Mike joined Nature United in 2026 as Corporate Engagement Director. He focuses on long-term relationship building with organizations who want to make contributions to conservation efforts in areas where they operate and connecting that with our conservation work and goals. He is passionate about stewardship of our natural resources, especially water.
Before this, Mike worked at Nutrien where he led environmental sustainability (water, biodiversity, climate) as part of their Global Sustainability team. He has an undergraduate degree in environmental science and a master’s in hydrology from the University of Lethbridge. He is registered as a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) with the Alberta Institute of Agrologists, and as an Environmental Professional (EP) with the ECO Canada Certification Program.
Mike enjoys spending time in the mountains, travelling and working on projects around the house.
