Biography

Erica works on grants and contracts for Nature United, and manages the conservation team events and general operations. She began in 2019 and was the first person in this role, so she has also built the internal processes that ensure grants and contracts are honoured and work funded by them can move forward smoothly.

Before coming to Nature United in 2019, Erica spent her career working for a variety of nonprofits, including the Western Regional Children’s Advocacy Center and the National Children’s Alliance, where she worked on grants, operational improvement, and process management. She also has a bachelor of science in Zoology from Colorado State University.

In her spare time, Erica raises seeing eye dogs, bakes French macarons, and explores the nearby mountains of Colorado. She also enjoys travelling, with Nepal being her favourite place so far.
