Biography
Dave joined Nature United in 2020, entering into his current role where he has overall responsibility for the finances and operations of the organization, including budgets, planning, reporting, and working with his team to add value to other departments.
Prior to joining Nature United, Dave spent a decade running the finance, accounting, human resources and administrative operations for Regional Power, a Canadian renewable energy company. In that role, he worked closely with the CEO, board of directors and First Nations joint venture partners to help build world class hydropower facilities supported by a team he helped direct.
He has also held management positions within Magna International and worked for Ernst & Young while articling and obtaining his Chartered Professional Accounting designation. Prior to that, Dave earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Business Administration degree from the University of Windsor.
Dave has two daughters and spends his leisure time hiking and camping with his family and reading history books. He is also a big baseball and hockey fan.
