Biography
Danielle started with Nature United in early 2023 as the Director of Major Gifts. She has dedicated her career to working in the non-profit sector, with almost 20 years as a fundraising professional. She has built relationships across a wide spectrum of supporters and forged partnerships with unlikely allies to help achieve common goals.
Danielle has led major gifts programs supporting humanitarian work and international cooperation at CARE Canada and Cuso International. At home in BC, she was part of campaign team that raised $100 million for BC Children’s Hospital, and she led an innovative project to bring community, art and immersive experiences into the new hospital to create a healing environment for families.
Danielle has a Bachelors’ Degree in Political Science from Simon Fraser University, an Associate Certificate in Fundraising Management from BCIT and she earned her Certified Fundraising Executive accreditation in 2010.
Outside of work, Danielle can be found spending time with her family, at her kids’ sports games and enjoying the trails, parks and beaches around BC.
