Biography
Caroline Cathcart is a financial services executive with a track record of success in numerous senior officer and leadership roles over more than 25 years. Throughout her career, Caroline has been instrumental in taking firms to the next level, contributing to transformational processes and technology improvements as well as leading new product development and the creation and launch of numerous private and public funds. Caroline’s past experience includes the investment management of a number of Alternative Investment funds as well as private wealth management for select high-net-worth clients, and she was instrumental in the development of a $4 billion wealth management business at a boutique investment firm. Caroline has extensive experience managing investment teams, exempt market products and investment infrastructure and is a recognized leader in the investment management industry. Caroline is also an experienced Director with extensive Chair and Committee Member Experience.
In 2017, Caroline was nominated for the WXN Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100™ Awards.
Caroline holds the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation, a Master of Laws from the University of Edinburgh and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University. She is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®), and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Toronto.
