Basmati Persaud

In her current role, Basmati provides financial services to other departments, improves financial efficiency and reporting. She is also on the Diversity Equity Inclusion and Justice task force, and the Women in Nature Employee Resource Group.

Prior to joining Nature United, Basmati worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Humber College and as Accounting Manager for the Learning Partnership, a charity that focused on innovative education programs. She also spent over a decade as a senior audit manager for the Office of the Auditor General in Guyana. She is a licensed CPA and has a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Guyana and a certificate in business administration from the U.K.’s Henley Business School.
