Maximize Your Impact
A founding donor to our work has offered a 1:1 qualifying match on any gifts over $1,000 to Nature United’s greatest needs. Right now, you can invest in resilient solutions for people and nature that will not only help us weather this storm, but come through it stronger.
Strength is borne from flexibility—that’s one of nature’s most important lessons. Resilience lets us spring, stretch, and shift directions when the unexpected hits. Today, faced with a storm of short, and long-term COVID-19 implications, Nature United has launched the Resilience Rapid Response Fund. The fund embodies our commitment to solutions that help people and nature weather this pandemic, towards a sustainable Canada that includes healthy lands, waters and climate.
The flexible, core support will help Nature United respond creatively to our organization’s sustainability over the next year and to our partners’ emerging needs. It will also help Nature United become a stronger force for conservation in a post-COVID world, enabling us to bring an economic-recovery lens to all of our projects.

Why We Need Your Support
Across Canada, communities, businesses and governments are grappling with how to cope with COVID-19. Economies are crashing, governments are realigning priorities, and Indigenous leaders and researchers are sounding the alarm. Beyond the health impacts, the pandemic also threatens climate action as attention and resources are diverted elsewhere. And, Indigenous-led conservation efforts, critical to sustaining healthy local ecosystems and economies, are in jeopardy as limited resources are redeployed to tackle the emergency.
But, together we can make a difference.
Your support will help us:
- Respond creatively and nimbly to our partners’ evolving needs,
- Integrate climate solutions into a green economic recovery, and
- Develop conservation approaches that create jobs and support local sustainable economies that act as a catalyst for greater social equity and reconciliation.

To ensure we can continue to lead through the storm of COVID-19, our partners need flexibility. To provide it to them, so do we.
What We're Doing
Already, Nature United has been working hard to address challenges created by the current crisis, investing in creative solutions to keep climate action and Indigenous-led conservation moving forward.
